Hazel Marie Weatherman is truly the "Founding Mother" of Depression Era Glass research.  Her body of work, written in the 1970s and 1980s, is still used extensively by all collectors.  Her books are out of print, so the search for them can be as challenging as the search for the glass itself.  Try online sites such as Amazon and eBay.  Her books include:
